I was born in Muskegon, Michigan and have lived in Central Florida since 1987 and currently reside in Apopka. In my spare time I enjoy riding my bike and jet ski, scuba diving, traveling and spending time with family and friends. I started investing in real estate in 1996 when I had my first home built. I have personally performed repairs/improvements of homes in excess of $100,000 per repair and have successfully bought and sold many homes as a private investor. I have over 400 hours of specialized training focused on all aspects of real estate, negotiating strategies, short sale procedures and distressed home marketing. Additionally, I have 14 years experience in the finance industry from Capital Raising, Deal Structure, Investment Banking, Securities Trading and Underwriting. I have closed deals around the world including Africa, Canada, Central and South America, Fuji, Germany, Spain and the UK. I am recognized as a leading expert in Central Florida in Distressed Luxury Homes, a frequent speaker for luncheons, investor groups, real estate discussion groups and sit on several committees including the current Vice Chairman of Professional Development Committee as well as the Grievance Committee with the Orlando Regional Realtor Association. I am a Graduate of the ORRA Leadership Institute, have completed the requirements for the new ORRA Risk Management certification as well as hold the following designations: CIPS candidate, CSP, GRI, SFR, TRC, PHP and a REALTOR. I am also currently working towards my ABR and CRS designations.
